He began his career in the group in 1975 as a trainee at Bullock’s, a California division of Federated Department Stores, which now forms the Macy’s group. In 1988, he joined Neiman Marcus, and became Chairman, CEO, then returned to the group in 1994 to assume the position of CEO of Federated Merchandising Group.

Prior to Adyen, Kamran served as Head of Global Payments at Netflix, where he helped expand the Netflix streaming service to more than 40 million members.
